Volunteer Recognition Day
Every year on April 20th, Volunteer Recognition Day is observed to commemorate, recognise, and celebrate those who give freely of their time, effort, and resources to help others. With millions of individuals taking part in various activities each year, the UK has continuously maintained a robust volunteering culture. According to the Department for Culture, Media & Sport's Community Life Survey 2023/24: Volunteering and charitable giving statistics, in 2023/24: 16% of adults (approximately 7.5 million people in England) had taken part in formal volunteering at least once a month in the last 12 months. Through our donations and partnerships with charities and NFPs we see first-hand the positive and extensive impact volunteers have within our society, without which critical services would not be able to function and service-users of volunteer-led organisations would be in a far more difficult situation. You can help support and recognise the contributions of these volunteers by using our ST4G sustainable solutions for your excess tech. Your unused tech can make a big difference to an organisation and its service-users, so please get in touch with one of our team to onboard your business in 2025.
